Q. Can I pay with a credit card?
A: Currently, we only take checks, money order or cash. When payment
is received at our office, we will activate your account.
Q. How do I get my email working?
A: Many of our customer has internet access with another ISP and host
their sites with us. In that case, InternetServicePros.com will set
up a forward of your e-mail address(es) mail to your preferred e-mail
address(es). However, do to transfer regulations of most ISP's, you
will not be
able to send from your domain e-mail address. With most e-mail software
programs, you can set up additional "Identities" or "Personalities"
that makes your outbound mail appear as if it was generated from
your
domain.
If you have a package with dialup internet access (coming soon), you
will be able to configure your domain e-mail addresses to be your prime
e-mail
address(es).

Who is InternetServicePros's provider?
A: Our service is provided by a large wholesale Internet Service Provider
in San Diego, who is fully connected to major backbone connections.
Servers are secured and have state-of-the-art power backup and envirnomental
controls.
Q. How do I FTP my Web site over to Internetservicepros.com?
A: We recommend WS-FTP software, which we do not support. You can
find WS-FTP on a Google search.
Once you have downloaded the software, you will need to fill in some
information fields. For Domain accounts use your Domain Username and
Password. For InternerServicePros.com member accounts, use your InternetServicePros.com
Username and Password. There will also be a FTP
field in
the
software
-- here you should type: www.yourdomain.com for Domain accounts. The
directory can be accessed by entering ../../web. NOTE: it is the Web
directory off the root directory, NOT the web directory under the users
directory. With member accounts enter www.internetservicepros.com
and the active directory will be the Web directory.
Q. Does InternetServicePros.com allow CGI scripting
on hosted Web Sites?
A: InternetServicePros.com allows CGI scripting on some package plans.

Q. What happens if I use more than my allocated monthly
bandwidth usage?
A: InternetServicePros.com will charge for extra bandwidth as listed
on our Packages page.
Q. Can I get an extra email account?
A: Depending upon which package you have, extra e-mail addresses may
be free or incur a charge. See our Packages page.
Q. How do I change my billing Information?
A: Email info@internetservicepros.com and make your request OR call

Q. How do I change my Username and/or Password?
A: Depending upon package type, customers may not be able to change
their Usernames without cancelling your existing account and sign-up
a new account under a different Username.

Q. How much is InternetServicePros.com's Internet Access?
A: Coming soon, InternetServicePros.com will offer
internet access for ONLY those with domain hosting service through

Q. Do I have a local number to dial-in to?
A: InternetServicePros.com has local dial-up
numbers for
- California Regional - throughout California, Nevada, and certain
areas of Arizona (Phoenix & Tucson).
- National 200 - 3000 nationwide access numbers. This
account allows 200 hours per month.
- National Unlimited - unlimited access via selected nationwide access
numbers, primarily in the largest metropolitan areas.
Q. I already use a browser, do I need to load an InternetServicePros.com
browser?
A: No, while InternetServicePros.com will work with any major name
browser, we recommend the latest standard Microsoft Internet Explorer
version. You may just configure your existing dialer
using our provided
directions.
Q. How do I change my opening page?
A: On the Internet Explorer browser click on "View", than
on "Internet Options".
Here you will see the "HomePage Field". Type any address
you wish there, or goto the page you wish to have as your homepage
and click on "Use Current".
Q. Why can't I logon?
A: First you must make sure that you are typing in your username and
password correctly, remember that they are case sensitive.
Make sure that the phone number that you are dialing into is correct.
If you still can't login, please take note of any message you might
be getting when trying to login and call us at 619-223-4523.

Q. Is there a limit to the size of my mailbox?
A: Basic dial-up Internet access accounts are set-up with a 10.0
MB combined storage limit for email and web space accounts.
Q. Why am I getting a connection slower than the capability of my
modem?
A: Today's modems connect at the best speed they can obtain under
present line conditions. Telephone companies do not guarantee that
high-speed
modems will connect at their maximum rate. In fact, it has been reported
that many phone lines
are not capable of carrying 28.8 bps traffic.
It is also possible that your modem is not configured properly. Check
your modem manual for the correct initialization string and port speed.
Q. How do I create my personal Web site?
A: (Coming soon to dialup users) To create your personal Web site,
you will have to know some HTML coding and File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
Basic dial-up Internet access accounts receive 10MB of combined free
e-mail and web space storage to build a personal Web site and
250MB of monthly bandwidth usage
to access their personal Web site.
Your personal Web site address will be http://www.internetservicepros.com/~username
Once you have downloaded the FTP software, you can create your Web
site, then FTP it to our server. Your dial-up username and password
provide access to web space.
